The fields it needs
Assign every field to the recipient who has to fill it in. A field with no owner is the most common reason a document comes back unfinished.
| Field | Who fills it | Required |
|---|---|---|
| Signature | Both | Yes |
| Full name | Candidate | Yes |
| Start dateLet them propose it rather than fixing it. | Candidate | Yes |
| Salary | Hiring manager | Yes |

What to get right
- Copy the recruiter rather than adding them as a signer, so they see the acceptance without blocking it.
- Keep the candidate to two fields if you can. Every extra field is a reason to put it off until the evening.
- Set a short expiry and a reminder. An offer with no deadline gets used as leverage elsewhere.
